Beach Day
We haven't been to the beach all summer, so we took Saturday and spent the day in the sun and sand.
Lorelei got knocked over by a wave just moments after we got there. That was the end of her day in the water. She stayed safely away from the water and played in the sand the rest of the time.

Ainsley starts school tomorrow! She's so excited she can barely contain herself. We go to orientation tonight. I think I'll be ok taking her to school tomorrow, but we shall see. I'm sure I'll have first day of school pictures up tomorrow or Wednesday. Stay tuned.

looks like a ton of fun. I remember going to my 1st New England beach and got knocked over by a wave. I didnt want to go back in the water either.
Daniel and Brandon started school today. Things are pretty exciting around here!

we have had certainly some nice days to do this huh? We went last weekend... what beach did you go to? We went to Clinton but there were Jelly fish everywhere!! So we didn't get to really go in the water.
can't wait to hear about her first day! I'm sure she is beside herself with excitement! It looks like you had fun at the beach! I'm thinking - as a kid, I would've been sitting with Lorelei! I wasn't much of a risk-taker, either!!!

Hey! That's wonderful that you got to go and spend a day at the beach. I've been wanting to do that, too, but have no energy to go w/out Rich. LOL I had a doctor's appointment this morning. . .now I have an ultrasound date to circle on the calendar~ Sept 24~can't wait!!!
David starts school on Wednesday and we went to the school today, all of us, to meet his teacher. So far, so good!
