Happy Easter!

Ainsley wanted nothing to do with picture taking. You can definitely see that she doesn't feel well.
But Lorelei was happy to supply her mommy with some beautiful smiles.
He is not here for He is risen, as He said. Come see the place where the Lord lay. Matthew 28:6
The stone is rolled away,
The stone is rolled away,
Tell out the story whereever you go;
The stone is rolled away,
The stone is rolled away,
Jesus is risen the whole world must know!
~Harold DeCou
I hope everyone had a blessed Resurrection Sunday. I ended up going to just the cantata this morning. I got to see my husband, sing and dress up the girls... if only for just an hour. I left as soon as the cantata was over. Ainsley had no fever and was coughing less, but she is still definitely not feeling good. We are staying home tonight.
The following is what I put in the program for today's cantata. (I do all my church's publicity, flyers, programs, bulletins, etc.) I hope all who read this have a saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is He who we should be focused on today. What About Your Eternal Home?
God’s Purpose: Man was createdto honor and serve Him.
“Thou art worthy, O Lord to receive glory and honor and power: for Thou hascreated all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created.” Revelation4:11
Man’s Problem: Sin - Man choseto sin against God rather than serve Him.
“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
Sin’s Penalty: Death -Separation from God forever.
“For the wages of sin is death…” Romans 6:23
Christ’s Payment: He was our sinless substitute.
“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
Our Pardon: We must repent of our sins and put our trust in Christalone.
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man comethunto the Father, but by Me.” John 14:6
God’s Promise: Eternal Life.
“He that heareth my word, andbelieveth on Him that sent Me, hatheverlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death unto life. John 5:24

You do so well with your ministry in that area. . .I love the special little touches you put in the bulletin each Sunday.
The girls are so beautiful, even if A. isn't her normal happy self.
Have a wonderful night. Rich is outside with the 4 older kids, I've been so tired all afternoon and even took a long nap!
Ohhhh.....I absolutely love these dresses! They are so unique and I love green too.
He is risen! He is risen indeed!

Beautiful little girls! We almost had to miss church this morning, and I had the same thoughts you did, (but I wont be able to sing in the choir and I practiced for 6 weeks!) (what about the kids, etc, etc,) I guess it's normal, but you are right, we should feel disappointed for the Right reasons!
Hope your little one is feeling better too, we are still fighting it!
