It's all my fault... I just had to schedule a photo session for Saturday...

And this is what happened...I scheduled Ainsley's 3-year pictures for Saturday and of course she had to fall off a stair, land on her face and get a black eye. Why is it that every time I plan on getting a portrait picture taken, my children get injured or are injured by someone else? (Bite picture is prime example here.) Oh well, maybe it will be gone by Saturday?? I can always re-schedule...
ETA: I should say that Ainsley is just fine. She cried about it for about a minute and then said, "Mommy, can I go play now?" I wouldn't have been so flippant about it if she was really hurt.

She looks awful in that picture! Poor Ainsley!
OUCH! Poor girly!
Aww, poor girl. Glad she feels ok.
I'm glad she's ok!! Poor kiddo, and I know what you mean about pictures, the same thing happened with me on Alex's second birthday.
yep, that always happens. you have to call that morning and pray they have openings, and then follow your kids around to catch every fall. and they will still somehow get even a small scratch!
glad she wasn't too bothered by it! probably looks worse than it feels
Oh, my goodness! Did this happen at home or the picture studio? Ouch...
Reminds me of when we had to cancel a family picture appointment because one of my younger sisters had been suctioning half of a silly putty egg to her mouth and gave herself a nice bruise all around her mouth.
Ainsley Tyson!
Oh, well. At least it did not happen on the way to the appointment or while taking pics. We are very excited to see how big A is! We are going during Jim's spring break (last week in March) for the boys and a new family one. We did not get one at Christmas because we did not care for them personally, but I was not spending another day getting ready before Christmas either.
Hope A gets her gift on time. The other items are just great finds we had found~ enjoy!
Poor Ainsley. I hope it heals quickly.
