So, I've been saying for weeks that I would put up pictures of our living room after the floors were refinished and it was put back together...
Well, I'm finally getting around to it.
I'm pretty proud of the flower arrangement. I did it myself. And if you know me at all, you know that's quite an accomplishment for me. That is not my thing... at all.

And yes, I'm pretty fanatical about keeping the living room picked up, so yes, it looks like this most of the time...
But... this is what the playroom looks like... so don't think I have it all together...
Do you notice anything different about my pictures? We finally got a new camera. Our old one was failing and would not zoom anymore... pretty hard to use when I needed it for stories. (I get paid for the pictures I take, too, so I try to take lots.) Now we own a Sony Cyber-shot. I'm still getting used to it as it has several more functions than our old one, but I'm pretty happy with it so far.
Have a great weekend everyone. It's supposed to be in the 90's here, so we'll be having fun in the sun.

Your living room looks so different!! I like it a lot. Good job, Cath, and thanks for the great comment on my site today. . I was nodding my head as I read it. The book I was reading mentioned that doing the chores like that and said that keeping the routine would add so much confidence to the homemaker. I need to do that, too, I guess I've just lost my way a little bit w/all that is going on. I'm excited to get back to a routine w/the housework instead of just doing things on the fly. It helps to have the children helping all the time, too.

You have a beautiful house. I sure wish I had a play room, those are awesome. I love having my house clean, and I used to be real good about it, but after having my 4th, it seems to have gone down hill fast. Enjoy your new camera. it takes great pics.

RYC: Oh, no please!! No more hot sun!! Lol!! The sun did finally peek through late afternoon/early evening, and it was near 90 here most of the day, and today it's going to be the same with the humid muggies on top of that, making it pretty uncomfortable. So, just send a nice breeze to dry things out a bit ... that we could use! Things are receding now, at least here at our house, so now we're just praying for no more rain for awhile! You have a wonderful weekend enjoying your newly 'remodeled' home!

LOL, I had to laugh because my house looks neat and picked up all the time too because I am crazy like that, but our playroom looks just yours!!!
I can't even walk in there without slight chest pains...lol
