  • Our hope tree

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but desire fulfilled is a tree of life. ~Proverbs 13:12

Thank you, Lord for the promise of heaven.  Thank you that I know our baby is there in your care.  Thank you for the two beautiful girls you allowed me to raise.

This is the tree we planted on the day our baby in heaven was to be born two years ago.  It blooms each May, the month he was to arrive, to remind us that we have the hope of eternal life and the promise that we will see our child someday.

  • How special, Cathi! Yes, I pray for His comfort and peace to rest on you both, as well. We, too, lost a child, and that emptiness in your heart never quite goes away, but there's comfort in knowing that they are cradled safely in the Father's arms. Bless you!

  • This is so precious.  I have loved ones too in Heaven that one day I will see.  : )  The flowering bush is beautiful and a beautiful idea.

Thanks for the thoughtful comment, we just have to take that upward look don't we?  : )

  • I love your tree!  What a beautiful tribute to God's grace.  My last baby is turning one in 9 days; you know how that saddens me.  I miss you, my sister in trial!
