A Prayer Request
...for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow. Jeremiah 31:13bAs you go about your day today, could you please pray for some friends of ours. Their names are Jo and Nathan. Josh and I went to college them and Jo, especially, became a very dear friend. Jo went into labor this past weekend and there was a cord accident. Their baby girl died during the birth. Today is the funeral for little Isabella.
Jo and Nathan know the Lord, but this is still not easy. They live in Pennsylvania now, near Nathan's family, so they have support nearby, but they need to feel God's comfort right now. They also have a 3-year-old named Olivia who was very excited about having a sibling. I'm sure it was devastating to have to tell her the news.

Praying for them, with sorrow in my hearts for their loss. I'm sure you will be a source of comfort to them during the months ahead. You're good at that. Love you! Shan
Oh how sad
, I will be lifting them in prayer.
Oh nooooo....I will pray. It was with a heavy heart that I read this...my heart just sunk. How utterly horrible for this family. May God give them the peace that passeth understanding.
O, I am so sorry for them. May they find comfort and peace in Jesus today.
Definitely praying for them today. Love you.
How sad and disappointing! How are they doing now? I pray they experience God's peace and comfort.
I enjoyed your post below. Your girls are so cute and it's sweet how each has her own interests and abilities. I don't know what to tell you about staying dry through the night. With Little Mister, when we finally started waking him up before we went to bed, he stayed dry through the night. Now we don't even do that and he's fine. Potty training is so complex, it seems. I'm no expert, that's for sure! lol Maybe some of it develops with maturity?
Hope your week is off to a good start!
Thank you for your prayers
. How are you friends Jo and Nathan doing? It must be SO hard. My sister lost her first baby 1 1/2 hours after he was born, I have never seen her so lost. But Praise God HE gave her a healthy baby girl 3 year to THE DAY that she lost Jacob. This past Sept God blessed her with another son, he is the one I took pictures of a few posts back. Praying for your friends as they go through this valley.
Wow, what a loss for that family. Reading this I was in tears, as I was reminded how gracious God was to my family when my daughter was born almost black with the cord wrapped tightly around her little neck, but in His mercy He saved her life. I am not sure why he chose to do so for my family and not for this one. My prayers and heart go out to them.
PS I found you through Shanda's site.
I will be praying for them during this time. I'm so sorry to hear of their loss.
Praying for them right now! My heart breaks for them! I can't imagine! But God does and knows and I hope they hold fast to Him through this!
