  • A Prayer Request

    Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
    Philippians 4:6

    I have had this verse memorized since childhood, and this week I am really trying to live it.  Josh's work will be having a vote on Sunday.  They will be voting whether to go on strike.  Of course, we are praying hard they will not be going on strike.  That will mean no paycheck and no health insurance for the duration of the strike.  If you think about it this weekend please pray for us to just trust God during this time.  Also, we are beginning to make some other big financial decisions right now that I will wait to share until after the results of the strike are known.  So, your prayers for us would be greatly appreciated.

    Here's the full version of our new family picture.  I'm very happy with it.  My family will laugh when they see the sweater Ainsley is wearing.  This is the third winter Ainsley has worn this sweater.  It's a size 24 months from Children's Place and she still fits in it. Looking back at it now, I think it was intended as a dress, but it's a really cute sweater, too.   I rolled the sleeves up the first winter and she's been wearing it normally the last two.  I love the way she looks in it.  Its funky look fits her personality perfectly.  I think it will be fun to look back at all of the pictures of her in this sweater when she gets older.  And then there will be lots of pictures of her sister in it, too.  It will belong to Lorelei next winter.  Josh and I have already decided it will never be a hand-me-down to anyone else.  We will keep it forever.
