  • Is it Friday yet???

    VBS is over and I'm feeling tired and out of sorts today.  My big girl Ainsley got the award for having the most points of all the 3-5 year olds.  She got a new Bible and a blue ribbon. We're very proud of her.   I missed her getting the award because I had been called out of the service because Lorelei was crying.    Oh well. 

    We're having a busy, but very tiring week.  I'm impatiently awaiting the weekend...

  • Go Ainsley!! I bet you are a proud momma! I know what that is like, having to leave service to go comfort an upset baby. :) The pics of you on Shanda's blog are so great. You look beautiful. Your little daughter is also so pretty. I just wanted to tell you that. Have a wonderful weekend.

  • Oh, I'm with you - this week seems to be lasting forever and I am just t.i.r.e.d!!!  I'll be praying your "batteries" get recharged over the weekend. 

    Thank you for your faithful prayers for my little man.  I appreciate it so much.  I can't wait till when we get to Heaven one day and SEE all the things our prayers did here on earth!

  • We didn't have a very busy week, but I am so thrilled that tomorrow is Friday. There is just something about it that makes it a better day!

    That is great about your daughter getting the award! How fun. I wish that our church would do a VBS, but unfortunately we don't. Maybe some day...

  • Hi Cathi...How exciting for Ainsley!  I remember VBS was always hectic and tiring, but oh so rewarding....seeing the smiles on those little faces, like Ainsley's here!  So precious!  I have a great suggestion that'll help you feel better until the weekend gets here!  Take a little time for yourself, and enjoy a bubble bath!  Works for me everytime!  You have great evening!

  • I am always sad when VBS is over, that means summer is quickly ending!  It looks like you guys did Avalanche Ranch, too.  My kids loved it!!!!

  • We did Avalanche Ranch at our church last month and it is very tiring. But rewarding, of course! Hope you got some rest this weekend! And I was happy for you that Kelly and her kids showed up--how wonderful! :)
